What does Newcastle Jets midfielder Riley McGree have in common with Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany and Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho?
All three have been named in this week’s EA SPORTS FIFA's Team of the Week.
McGree joined some of world football’s biggest name in the illustrious team following his sensational hat-trick in the F3 Derby win over the Central Coast Mariners last Saturday night.
The 19-year-old was superb as he scored a treble – all with his left foot – and had an assist in the 8-2 demolition at Central Coast Stadium.
It was the first senior hat-trick of his professional career and helped give the Jets a huge confidence boost heading into the Hyundai A-League Finals Series.
And it has McGree in some world-class company, alongside the likes of Coutinho, France striker Olivier Giroud and Juventus’ Brazilian winger Douglass Costa.
