Nagoya Grampus and Caltex Socceroos goalkeeper Mitch Langerak admits he would consider a return to the Hyundai A-League in the future.
Langerak, 30, was last seen in Australia’s top flight sporting the colours of Melbourne Victory, whom he helped win the Premiership and Championship double in 2008/09.
The Brisbane-born shot stopper then joined German giants Borussia Dortmund in May 2010, developing his craft under the tutelage of current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and clinching two Bundesliga titles (2010/11 and 2011/12), as well as finishing runner up in the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League.

He has since featured for VfB Stuttgart and Spanish La Liga outfit Levante before J-League club Nagoya acquired his signature in January 2018, but confirmed he would one day come back to ply his trade Down Under.
“I’d love to go back and play in the A-League one day,” Langerak told Goal Japan.
“At the moment it’s not my priority, but for sure, one day, I think. I have a lot of happy memories for playing in the A-League.

“I always try watch the games and keep up to date what’s going on in A-League. And it’s only going to keep growing.
“It’s very exciting at the moment in the players who are there, [Keisuke] Honda, for example.
“Hopefully, in the next one, two, three years, the league will continue to develop and continue to grow.
“And hopefully more big-name players like Honda will join the league and give it another boost.”
