Sam Kerr’s stash of individual awards resembles more of a club trophy cabinet such is the striker’s prolific collection of accolades.
But the Perth Glory and Westfield Matildas striker would throw it all away to get her hands on the Westfield W-League Championship trophy this Saturday.
It would be an achievement to trump all others for the 25-year-old, who plans to lead her hometown club to their first ever piece of silverware against rivals Sydney FC.
“I would trade in every single personal award I’ve won for this championship on the weekend. I would give it all up,” Kerr told FOX Sports.
“It would be right up there with winning the Asian Cup, it would definitely top anything else I’ve done with a team success.”
Kerr is simply a magnet for silverware, and the stage is set for the 2018 Young Australian of the Year to steal the show on Saturday.
Sitting atop of her litany of recent accolades is the 2018/19 Golden Boot – her second consecutive in Australia’s top tier and fourth overall in conjunction with America’s National Women’s Soccer League.
But Kerr won’t be the only bona fide match winner to grace the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium turf come Saturday afternoon.

While Kerr’s goals have catapulted Glory to the brink of their first Championship, Westfield Matildas teammate Caitlin Foord has been of similarly talismanic importance for Ante Juric’s Sky Blues in their title pursuit.
And Kerr believes her friend turned foe must be silenced for Perth to emerge Champions.
“I think Caitlin’s one of the best players in the country,” she continued.
“She’s done really well this season. It’s good to see her back after an injury.
“Hopefully I think last game our defence shut her down really well. It’s just about shutting her down and hopefully that allows me and Rachel (Hill) to score some goals.
“Caitlin’s done really well and I’m happy for her, it’s good for us Matildas fans to see her scoring goals.”
