Hoole departs Mariners, joins Broadmeadow Magic

Broadmeadow Magic received a big boost ahead of Sunday's NPL Northern NSW blockbuster following the signature of Andrew Hoole from Central Coast Mariners.

Hoole received a clearance on Friday which allows him to feature for the NPL NNSW leaders Broadmeadow against second-placed Edgeworth Eagles, which doubles up as a rematch of 2018's Grand Final.

The 25-year-old was a junior at the Magic, and it's where he began his senior career back in 2011 before moving onto the Newcastle Jets.

Broadmeadow are top of the Northern NSW NPL table with 20 points, one above Edgeworth.

Magic are coached by former Hyundai A-League player Ruben Zadkovich, and boast former Hyundai A-League players James Virgili, Kristian Brymora and Mitch Oxborrow.
