Football Federation Australia (FFA) today advised that Newcastle Jets defender Gema Simon has replaced her club teammate Larissa Crummer in the Westfield Matildas squad for the forthcoming ‘Seven Consulting International Series’ against Chile.
Crummer, who has represented Australia 23 times, will miss the two-match series against Chile due to injury. Simon, who has seven Westfield Matildas caps to her credit, joined Alen Stajcic’s squad in Sydney on Monday.
The Westfield Matildas will play Chile at Panthers Stadium in Penrith on Saturday, 10 November 2018 at 3.30pm (AEDT) and McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on Tuesday, 13 November 2018 at 7.30pm (AEDT).
