Melbourne Victory’s new marquee man has wasted little time getting down to work with his new club, training for the first time on Friday with the possibility of making his debut in the FFA Cup 2018 Round of 16 on Tuesday night.
Victory pulled off a huge coup signing the 32-year-old, who played 98 times for Japan and scored in three FIFA World Cup tournaments.

Honda also helped the Samurai Blue win the 2011 AFC Asian Cup and played for the likes of AC Milan and CSKA Moscow during a fantastic club career in Europe.
