"Iain has received a very good offer and we have agreed to allow him to travel there to further those discussions,” said Adelaide United General Manager of Football Operations, Michael Petrillo.

The Reds have said they will not reveal information on the club and negotiations will remain confidential until any further developments eventuate.

Fyfe will depart for Iran tonight.
