Liam Cannell's powerful drive for Moreland Zebras against Magpies Crusaders and Martin Fernandez’s late curler for Marconi Stallions against Melbourne City were the winners as voted by fans.

Both FFA Cup 2019 Goal of the Year strikes will now go through to the final round of voting, where they join the three efforts from the Round of 32 and the two most voted Preliminary Round goals.

There will be 10 goals in total for the final round of voting, with the top two from the Round of 16, and the best goal from the Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final also entering.

Cannell got plenty of votes for his cracker in the Victorian NPL2 side’s 4-0 drubbing of the Crusaders from Queensland.

He played a clever one-two with a teammate on the edge of the box before letting fly with a first-time strike that nestled in the bottom corner of the net.

Fernandez and his Marconi Stallions may have been on the wrong end of the result against Melbourne City but his strike will live long in the memory.

Picking up possession just outside the box, Fernandez dribbled past one defender before executing a precise chip over the 'keeper and into the top corner.

Interestingly, Daniel McBreen’s thunderbolt for Edgeworth against Newcastle Jets only received less than 5% of the vote.
