Ferguson confident of beating Roar

Ian Ferguson is confident his Perth Glory side can go to Suncorp Stadium and beat Brisbane Roar.

Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson is confident his team can upset Brisbane Roar in the Hyundai A-League Grand Final, claiming anything is possible for his charges.

Perth, of course have overcome the mother of all mid-season slumps and somehow defeated Central Coast Mariners in an epic penalty shootout, despite the Mariners having the better of the chances in regular time.

Ferguson delighted with the mental strength of his team and the effort they put in.

“It was a massive effort from the boys again," Ferguson said.

“I-m absolutely delighted with the effort and the commitment the boys have shown this year and they deserve it.

“I-m just very proud and absolutely delighted to be in the final with them."

As for taking on the somewhat rampant Roar, Ferguson was adamant that it's a case of getting it right on the night.

"Anybody can beat anybody in the finals," he said.

"We're going to go there with the attitude and confidence that we can beat them."
