Emily Gielnik heads back to Europe with Vittsjö

Westfield Matildas forward Emily Gielnik is set to return to Europe with Swedish side Vittsjö.  

Currently back in Australia for a short break, Gielnik is the latest signing for a side who has title ambitions after finishing the 2019 Damallsvenskan season in third place.

The 28 year old forward heads to Sweden after departing a testing stint with Frauen Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.  


Since making her Westfield Matildas debut in 2012, Gielnik has made 37 appearances for the national team with eight goals to her name.
