Ellie Carpenter has capped off her first full season at Olympique Lyonnais with a spot in the team of the season.
One of four Lyon players in the team, Carpenter made her mark in her 18 appearances in the Division 1 Féminine.
The right back was critical to Lyon having the second stingiest defence in the league behind champions, PSG.
Carpenter wasn't just a strong defensive player but contributed going forward, even scoring a goal against Bordeaux early on in the season.
She also featured among the nominees for Young Player of the Year but was beaten by PSG's Sandy Baltimore.
The 21-year-old has finished her club commitments and is now in Sweden preparing for the Westfield Matildas two friendlies in June.
