Denis Harlow

Born in England in 1938, Denis Harlow has a long record as a player, coach, administrator and historian. He emigrated to Australia in 1960, settling in Adelaide where he served as state representative for 400 games with various Adelaide clubs. At a state level, Harlow was state staff coach, conducted courses and was elected president of the South Australian Coaches Association. He was also appointed by FIFA as World Youth official, SOCOG soccer member and managed state and national teams. During his career, Harlow served as chairman of the State Honours Committee and recently produced a book on South Australian soccer history.
