50 days until Hyundai A-League 2019/20 Season kicks off

The Hyundai A-League 2019/20 Season is fast approaching, with just 50 days until the first match of the new season.

And it’s a blockbuster clash to open the new campaign as defending FFA Cup winners Adelaide United host reigning Hyundai A-League champions Sydney FC.

The curtain goes up on the new season on Friday, October 11 and Coopers Stadium will be rocking for the visit of the Sky Blues.

It’s the first of 150 matches that will decide the next Hyundai A-League champion.

The new season also marks the 15th year of the competition and heralds the arrival of a new club in Western United FC.

United, who play their first-ever match tonight against Caroline Springs George Cross FC, are coached by Mark Rudan and boast a squad with stars like Alessandro Diamanti, Panagiotis Kone, Andrew Durante and Ersan Gulum.
