With the experienced cohort boasting FIFA World Cup™, European Championship, UEFA Champions League and Premier League honours between them, this is a chance for Australian football fans to witness footballers of the highest pedigree.

Fabregas, Pedro, Alonso and Luiz share a combined 652 appearances in England's top flight and have been involved in some of the storied and celebrated moments in the world game's recent history.

Spanish attacker Pedro is one of the most decorated footballers of the modern era having claimed 20 major titles with Barcelona before arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2015.

Fabregas on the other hand rose to prominence as the golden boy of Chelsea's London rivals Arsenal before ending up in South West London via the Catalonia giants.

Both Pedro and Fabregas are graduates of Barcelona's La Masia academy and won both European and World titles with Spain in 2008 and 2010.

They'll be joined in the Western Australia capital by two key members of Chelsea's defensive unit in David Luiz and Marcos Alonso.

Brazilian centre half Luiz was part of the club's maiden Champions League title in 2012 and won back to back titles in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint Germain before returning to the Blues in 2016.

Alonso on the other hand has developed a reputation as one of the Premier League's best fullbacks. The 27-year-old scored seven goals for Chelsea last season and won his first cap with Spain in March.

The Premier League side is likely to hold an open training session for fans to watch them train on the Saturday before the match.

Up to 60,000 fans are expected to attend the match at Optus Stadium, in what will be Chelsea’s second match in Australia in three years after a 1-0 win over Sydney FC in 2015.
