Chelsea announce 25-man squad for Perth friendly

Chelsea have announced their 25-man squad to take on Perth Glory at Optus Stadium on Monday night.

The Londoners are currently in transit from the United Kingdom and are expected to touch down in Western Australia tonight (AEST).

The Blues are bringing a high-quality squad Down Under for the match which is seen as vital preparation ahead of their new domestic campaign, which begins on August 11.

Among the travelling cohort is club legend Gianfranco Zola, who was recently appointed assistant of new boss Maurizio Sarri.
