The Caltex Socceroos may have exited the FIFA World Cup™ in the group stage but a couple of players made a big impact at the tournament with their speed.
Wingers Mathew Leckie and Robbie Kruse came in equal 13th of fastest players in Russia.

The pair both recorded a top speed of 33.1 km/h at one point across Australia’s three group games, against France, Denmark and Peru.
Kruse and Leckie are among some elite company, with the likes of England duo Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling, as well as Colombia’s Juan Cuadrado, also tied in 13th spot.
Surprisingly, France flyer Kylian Mbappe couldn’t crack the top 20, with his 32.4 km/h putting him in a tie for 36th.
Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo sits at the top of the list with a top speed of exactly 34 km/h, matched by Croatian winger Ante Rebic.
Rounding out the top five is Peruvian Luis Advincula (33.8 km/h), Colombia right-back Santiago Arias (33.6) and English pair Kyle Walker and Jesse Lingard (both 33.5).
