Caltex Socceroos defender Matthew Jurman is on the lookout for a new club after announcing he has left his Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.
Jurman confirmed on social media he is now a “free agent” and thanked the club for allowing him to experience playing in the Saudi Pro League.
“Excited to share as of today I am a free agent. I would like to thank @ittihadclub.sa for the time spent here and the opportunity to experience the Saudi Arabian culture,” Jurman wrote on Instagram.

“Thanks to all my team mates, great guys, enjoyed playing with you all, & made some lifelong friendships.
“Lastly thanks to all the 🐅 fans been crazy to see every game full of support!”
Jurman, who turns 30 in December, joined Al-Ittihad in July 2018 after one season in Korea with Suwon Bluewings.
He also spent nine years playing in the Hyundai A-League at both Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar.

It’s unclear whether Jurman will look to remain in Asia, play elsewhere abroad or look for a return to the Hyundai A-League.
