Korean club Incheon United confirmed it has signed Australian forward Nathan Burns on a three-year deal.

The Socceroo, who's career began at Adelaide United had been linked with a return to the A-League with Newcastle Jets after ending his time at Greek club AEK Athens.

Burns agreed to the deal after a promising training camp, which also saw Brazilian defender Ferdinando Pereira Leda join the club.

It is believed a decisive factor in the deal was Incheon coach Huh Jung-Moo, who has developed a reputation for nurturing talent.
