Defender Jordy Buijs is the latest former Sydney FC star to find a new club, announcing his signing with J-League outfit V-Varen Nagasaki.
Buijs left the Sky Blues at the end of the 2017/18 Season after 18 trophy-laden months with the club.
Joining midway through the 2016/17 campaign, Buijs played a key role in the side clinching the double that season, including the dramatic grand final win over Melbourne Victory on penalties.
Last season the 29-year-old helped Sydney FC win the FFA Cup for the first time, while they retained their Premiers’ Plate title after another dominant regular season.
Buijs joins striker Bobo and playmaker Adrian Mierzejewski to confirm their new clubs in recent days.
Golden Boot winner Bobo has linked up with Turkish Super Lig side Alanyaspor, while Mierzejewski has moved to China with Changchun Yatai.
