Brisbane Roar v Adelaide United: match preview
Brisbane Roar return home knowing only a win will do to keep pace with the top four as they come up against an Adelaide United outfit chasing their first points of the campaign.
Roar’s Westfield Matildas stars Tameka Yallop, Hayley Raso and MacKenzie Arnold all hit top form in the win over Canberra United last weekend and will hope to replicate that against the Reds.
In their two home games so far in the 2019/20 Season, Jake Goodship’s side have suffered two defeats and they’ll need to put that right if they are to make the finals.
Adelaide may not have any points to their name but they performed much better than their results suggest.
With the likes of Mallory Weber and Mary Fowler in their side, the Reds certainly have the firepower to cause an upset. But can they do it against a Roar squad beginning to hit their straps?
