The FFA Cup 2018 Round of 32 has thrown up some incredible action, with stunning goals, late drama and thrilling matches.
We’ve also seen the emergence of some genuine stars from NPL clubs right around the country, thriving in their shot on the national stage.

Here’s five breakout stars from the Round of 32.
Sulav Maskey – Hellenic AC
The classy no.10 almost helped the tiny club from Darwin pull off the biggest in FFA Cup history.
Maskey, the former captain of the Nepalese U19 national team, scored two goals for Hellenic as they went within a whisker of eliminating Western Sydney Wanderers.
It wasn’t just his goals that made Maskey standout, he consistently found space, looked comfortable in possession and beat players with ease.

Andrew Cartanos – Heidelberg United
Cartanos caught the eye with his man-of-the-match display in Heidelberg’s narrow win over Charlestown City Blues.
A constant threat down the left flank all night, it was Cartanos’ early cross which led to Blues defender Kevin Davison scoring an own goal.
The 24-year-old’s speed and trickery made him almost impossible to stop and it was only the woodwork which denied him getting on the scoresheet in the 2-1 win.
Elvis Kamsoba – Avondale FC
What an exciting talent this guy is.
Kamsoba, born in the small African nation of Burundi before arriving in Australia as a 12-year-old, didn’t get on the scoresheet in the 4-1 win over Marconi but was the catalyst for Avondale’s impressive win.
Lightning quick, skillful, and confident on the ball, he has it all and if Avondale is to go deep in this year’s FFA Cup, he’ll play a big role.
Miles Barnard – Devonport Strikers
The Tasmanian club moved into the Round of 16 for the second time in the clubs history, with Barnard the chief destroyer.
The 27-year-old – who is building a reputation as a goal-scoring midfielder - scored a first-half brace to send the Strikers on their way to the 3-1 win.
Barnard is making a habit of scoring important goals for the club too, after his winner in the Lakoseljac Cup final in Tassie in June.
Asmir Kadric – Bonnyrigg White Eagles
There’s big wraps on this 21-year-old and it’s clear to see why.
Kadric is supremely talented and scored one of the best goals on this year’s competition so far in Bonnyrigg’s 2-1 win over NSW NPL rivals Hakoah Sydney City East.
The youngster is keen to push for a step-up to the Hyundai A-League and he’ll have a chance to push his claims further when the White Eagles take on Western Sydney Wanderers in the Round of 16.
