Bozanic set for European return

Oliver Bozanic has signed a two-year deal at Scottish Premier League outfit Heart of Midlothian following the midfielder's exit from Melbourne City.

Bozanic had joined City on a short-term deal in February after departing Japanese outfit Ventforet Kofu, featuring nine times in total for the Melbourne club.

The 29-year-old began his senior career at Central Coast Mariners before signing on for Reading in 2007.

Bozanic said that the offer to return to European football was too good to refuse.

“It’s that time of my career when I really wanted to be back in Europe," he told the club's official website.

“Hearts have given me this great opportunity to play here in Scotland and I’m just looking forward to taking that chance.

“I’d love to win trophies. It’s why we play football and I hope that I can do that at this club.”
