The ex-Manchester United and Australia goalkeeper launched his blistering tirade just minutes after the Sky Blues' record-equalling defeat at the hands of a red-hot Mariners outfit.
Sydney led 1-0 early and trailed 3-2 early in the second half before capitulating and conceding four goals in an astonishing 11-minute period before a crowd of over 15,000 at Bluetongue Stadium.
Seated next to former Sydney FC skipper Mark Rudan, Bosnich told Fox Sports viewers: "If I was those Sydney players, every one of them including the coach and coaching staff should go over to those supporters and apologise to their faces.
"That was an utter disgrace. For those people to travel up that motorway and witness that score against one of their main rivals ... I'm sorry, that just ain't good enough.
"People pay good money to go and watch a football game, not to get slaughtered."
Sydney coach Ian Crook did apologise for the performance at the post-match press conference but denied his team had thrown in the towel.
But he faces a massive task restoring his players' belief and confidence after such a shattering loss.
Crook will be sweating on the return of Italian superstar Alessandro Del Piero for Saturday night's meeting with Melbourne Victory, while he is hopeful key defenders Pascal Bosschaart, Adam Griffiths and Fabio will soon be back to shore up the competition's leakiest defence.
Former Socceroo Jason Culina is also close to a return after almost two years out of the game.
