There were two Caltex Socceroos in action across Europe on Saturday morning (AEDT) as Mark Milligan and Jimmy Jeggo stepped out for Hibernian and Austria Vienna respectively.
Milligan played the full 90 in Scotland as Hibs overcame Dundee in a 4-2 thriller at Dens Park.
In front of the television cameras in the Scottish Premiership’s Friday night fixture, the Hibees scored twice either side of half-time, including a brace from new striker Marc McNulty.
The Caltex Socceroos skipper wasn’t the only Aussie on the pitch however with former Australian international Ryan McGowan and youngster Jesse Curran donning the navy blue of Dundee.
Meanwhile in the Austrian Bundesliga, Jeggo played the full game as his Austria Vienna side fell 2-0 to LASK Linz.
Despite the defeat Jeggo’s side remain well in contention for European qualification as they sit in fifth place.
