In the J League, Mitch Langerak will be the first Aussie in action this weekend when his Nagoya Grampus face off against Cerezo Osaka at 4pm on Saturday.

The Socceroos shot stopper has been in fine form for Nagoya this campaign, he’s registered seven cleansheets to date as his side occupy 4th position on the league ladder.

Saturday’s fixture will be finely poised with Cerezo sitting on place above Grampus – six points better off however they have played one extra match.

Nagoya will take comfort from the fact that they recorded a 2-0 win when they last met in mid-July.

Thomas Deng’s Urawa Red Diamonds will take to the pitch later that night when they travel to Sagan Tosu at 8pm.

However, a late dismissal against Grampus last time out has ruled Deng out of selection for this encounter.

Heading to the United States where Brad Smith will be featuring for Seattle Sounders when they meet Los Angeles FC at 10am on Monday.

The Sounders are on a three match winning streak and appear in prime position to finish top of the western conference.

They were flawless in their latest clash against Real Salt Lake as they won 2-1 with Smith entering the fray in the 64th minute.
