Aussies Abroad: Gielnik's Bayern hit four, Galabadaarachchi shines on historic day

Emily Gielnik's great start to life in Germany has continued with Bayern Munich moving into third spot on the Bundesliga table after a 4-0 victory over Duisburg.

The Westfield Matildas forward - who signed for the German giants in August - was a 71st minute substitute for the Bavarians.

Bayern netted goals through Lina Magull, Simone Laudehr, Jovana Damnjanovic and Nicole Rolser.

Next up for Gielnik is a mouthwatering second-versus-third clash with Hoffenheim.

Westfield Matildas starlet Jacynta Galabadaarachchi made another impressive cameo for West Ham United in front of a record-breaking crowd at the London Stadium.

The 18-year-old Australian played in front of a bumper 24,790-strong attendance - the second highest crowd ever for a Women's Super League match, and the club's first-ever at the London Stadium - as the Hammers fell 2-0 to rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Matt Beard's United crafted chance upon chance after Rianna Dean's excellent header gave Spurs the lead on 36 minutes, with Galabadaarachchi's introduction on the hour mark increasing the attacking impetus.

The teenager came close to teeing up Korea Republic legend Cho So-hyun to level only the Spurs defence to take possession back, while she also sent a shot whistling narrowly wide of the post after a lovely exchange with Kenza Dali.

West Ham were punished for their profligacy with five minutes remaining, with substitute Lucy Quinn adding a poacher's second for the North Londoners.

Elsewhere, Tameka Yallop's Klepp fell 3-2 to Trondheims-Orn in Norway, with young Trondheims defender Cesilie Andreassen netting a spectacular hat-trick.

Yallop is Klepp's leading scorer this season with seven goals in 17 matches.
