Allan Johns was born on 13th June, 1925 in Newcastle NSW.
Allan played his entire football career with Adamstown Rosebud. He graduated from Adamstown juniors, where his football skills were first noticed.
Allan played 310 first grade games with Adamstown, also representing Newcastle 13 times and NSW 18 times.
Allan wore the green and gold over 30 times.
After retiring from football, Allan’s involvement on the Committee and as President of Adamstown Rosebud Soccer Club, helped guide the club to even greater success during the 1960s and beyond.
Allan is a Life Member of Adamstown Rosebud.
Allan was inducted into the Hunter Region Hall of Fame in 1996 and the Australian Hall of Fame in
1999.
