Football is unique. It brings together people from diverse backgrounds like no other. So too, women’s football.
Whether here in Australia or overseas, we have built a community that takes care of one another and comes together through a common passion – football.
We know the great joy that our game brings to the community and to our fans.
However, in these unprecedented times, football takes a back seat to the most important thing, the health and wellbeing of our supporters.
We know you are disappointed about the suspension of football from many levels of the game nationally and internationally – and we are too. We love the colour you bring to the stadiums, your noise and your support, and for the next little while we will miss that.
But we love you being safe even more. With that in mind, take of yourselves and take care of each other.
We are a community that has worked hard to come together through all types of obstacles. Let’s stay united, and connected.
