With former Youth boss Ian Crook taking over, who will break through for the Sky Blues?

With former National Youth League coach Ian Crook taking the reins, the Sky Blues could be ready to deliver a new generation of talent this season.
Established youngsters like Terry Antonis and Joel Chianese will push their claims even further for regular starting spots and with so many youngsters used to Crook-s methods, and the coach knowing what he has in the youth ranks, it could bring plenty of opportunity for players and entertainment for fans.
Hagi Gligor: The midfielder got his senior call-up after a good Youth league season and has great technical skill. Iit might be a little while before he gets a chance but his passing game is solid.
Ian Crook says: “Technically good and comfortable in possession with a good range of passing, smart footballer.”
Blake Powell: Promoted from the youth team after stints with Blacktown, Sydney Olympic, and the Sutherland Sharks, Powell is noted as quick, smart and not afraid to run at the opposition.
Crookie says: “Good in one-on-one situations with decent pace, he is a very versatile player who can cover anywhere across the front line.”
Daniel Petkovski : The tall defender will give the Sky Blues more of an aerial presence this season and being left-sided is a huge advantage in the A-League, having played as a Young Socceroo he has some big game experience on his side.
Crookie says: “A strong defender who is comfortable in possession, equally comfortable as a left back or central defender.”
