| Football Family Membership Terms
The completed registration form (Form) and these terms
(including any incorporated terms) form a legally binding contract (Agreement)
between the person named on the form (you) and Football
Federation Australia Limited ACN 106 478 068 (FFA). This
Agreement sets out the terms on which you will become registered as a member
of the Football Family and receive the opportunity to purchase Tickets to
the Match.
Registration in Football Family
1 You warrant that you are a member of the Football Family and that the
details provided by you on the Form are current, true and correct. You
acknowledge that if FFA’s verification procedures identify that you are not
a member of the Football Family, you will be de-registered and will not be
given access to any benefits, including any Priority Booking Period.
2 FFA will not process any Form that has not completed the mandatory
fields where indicated.
3 FFA will send you a confirmation email that confirms your registration
and provides you with a MyFootball Number (MFN).
Membership Benefits
4 Once you have received your MFN, you will be entitled to the benefits
of membership, including special offers and content and the opportunity to
purchase Tickets before the general public, including in a Priority Booking
Period on a first-come, first-served basis or through a ballot.
5 You may be required to apply to purchase Tickets in a particular form
or manner.
6 FFA may from time to time specify a date by which you must have
received your MFN to be eligible to access particular member benefits,
including a Priority Booking Period for a particular Match.
7 Any Tickets not sold in a Priority Booking Period or ballot, and any
return of tickets from Direct Allocations from time to time, will be sold by
FFA in its absolute discretion, including by placing them on public sale.
Ticket Conditions and Regulations
8 In respect of all Tickets you receive, you must comply and must ensure
that each subsequent holder of any of your Tickets complies with the ticket
conditions as set out on the back of the tickets.
9 It is an essential condition of this Agreement and of the right of
admission to the Match conferred on the holder of a Ticket that you and each
subsequent holder of the Ticket agrees with FFA:
(a) not to, nor attempt to, resell or transfer the Ticket at a premium;
(b) not to use it for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes
(including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for
other goods or services; and
(c) not to bundle it with other goods or services,
without FFA’s prior consent. If this condition is breached, FFA may, in
addition to any other remedy and even if the holder of the Ticket did not
have notice of the condition or the breach, deny the holder admission to the
Match and retain the price of the Ticket.
10 You agree to comply with FFA’s rules and regulations (including the
Spectator Code of Behaviour available on www.footballaustralia.com.au) and
any venue conditions of entry.
Limitation of liability
11 (a) Nothing in this clause 10 affects your rights under the Trade
Practices Act 1974 (Cth) or similar legislation under which FFA’s liability
may not be excluded, restricted or modified by private agreement (TPA
Rights).
(b) If FFA is liable to you for any:
(i) breach by FFA of any express term of this Agreement;
(ii) breach by FFA of any term implied into this Agreement under the
general law; or
(iii) any tort committed by FFA (including negligence but not including
fraud),
FFA’s liability to you is limited (at FFA’s election) to FFA repaying any
amounts paid by you under this Agreement or supplying or resupplying any
tickets to which you are entitled in accordance with the terms of this
Agreement.
12 You agree not to bring any claim or proceeding against FFA for any
damage, loss, injury or liability you may suffer in being unsuccessful in
any application for Tickets or in attending any Match.
Ticket Refunds and Replacements
13 FFA will refund the full value of a Ticket if:
(a) a Match is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled; or
(b) you are entitled to a refund by virtue of the operation of TPA
Rights.
14 Subject to your TPA Rights:
(a) FFA is not liable to you for any loss or damage you suffer as a
result of a Match being cancelled, postponed or changed; and
(b) FFA disclaims the existence of any common law duty of care to you and
any holder of the Ticket.
15 FFA will not replace your Ticket, if it is lost, stolen, forgotten,
damaged, forged or unreadable (unless you can demonstrate proof of purchase
and identity acceptable to FFA).
Privacy
16 The personal information that FFA collects on the Form is used for the
purpose of processing your request for membership of the Football Family and
any applications for Tickets. We may also use this information to send you
football-related information or offers from FFA and its Affiliates within
your jurisdiction. If you do not want to receive offers from FFA or an
Affiliate’s sponsors, please tick the appropriate Privacy Opt Out box on the
Form.
17 You may request access to personal information FFA holds about you by
sending an email to

Technological Issues
18 FFA is not responsible for any infection by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other
causes beyond the control of FFA, including that cause the delayed or
non-delivery of emails to FFA. FFA reserves the right to disqualify any
individual who tampers with the registration or ticketing process and to
cancel his or her membership.
General
19 FFA may choose not to enforce a term of this Agreement in some cases
in its absolute discretion without affecting its right to enforce that term
in other cases.
20 FFA may introduce a points or caps system to ensure the more loyal
members of the Football Family are appropriately rewarded.
21 The dates, times, participating teams and venue of a Match, and the
timeframes of any registration or ticketing process, may change without
notice to you.
22 This Agreement:
(a) is governed by the law applicable in the state of New South Wales and
each party submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state; and
(b) is the entire agreement between FFA and you in respect of its subject
matter.
Definitions
23 In this Agreement:
Affiliates mean a state, territory or regional federation
or association that is a member or interim member of FFA from time to time
and their respective districts, zones and clubs and the A-League clubs.
Direct Allocation means tickets to a Match provided by FFA
to meet its contractual, protocol and operational obligations, including to
stadium members, partners, players, hospitality, travel, media and
dignitaries.
Football Family means:
(a) anyone who received a MyFootball Number from registering before the
FIFA World Cup Qualifier between Australia and the Uruguay on 16 November
2005. FFA reserves the right to have these members re-validate;
(b) participants of affiliated clubs and schools (being players, coaches
and officials, and parents of junior players and referees) (registered
participants);
(c) officials, management, members and staff (paid or volunteer) of
affiliated football clubs, regional or district associations or state or
territory federations (football staff);
(d) people who have previously been registered participants or football
staff (as defined above) and who had been involved in the Australian game
for a continuous period of at least 5 years;
(e) participants in national or state team competitions, programs or
academies;
(f) members or season pass holders of a Hyundai A-League club;
(g) ticket holders for any match involving a national representative team
(including the Socceroos or Matildas) or a Hyundai A-League club; or
(h) as otherwise determined by FFA from time to time.
Match means any match involving the men’s senior national
team (known as the Socceroos) that is played in Australia under the control
of FFA.
Priority Booking Period means the period specified by FFA
from time to time in which members of the Football Family have the
opportunity to purchase Tickets to a Match before tickets go on general
public sale.
Tickets mean the available tickets to a Match after FFA has
met its Direct Allocations.
