Football Family Membership Terms

The completed registration form (Form) and these terms (including any incorporated terms) form a legally binding contract (Agreement) between the person named on the form (you) and Football Federation Australia Limited ACN 106 478 068 (FFA). This Agreement sets out the terms on which you will become registered as a member of the Football Family and receive the opportunity to purchase Tickets to the Match.

Registration in Football Family

1 You warrant that you are a member of the Football Family and that the details provided by you on the Form are current, true and correct. You acknowledge that if FFA’s verification procedures identify that you are not a member of the Football Family, you will be de-registered and will not be given access to any benefits, including any Priority Booking Period.

2 FFA will not process any Form that has not completed the mandatory fields where indicated.

3 FFA will send you a confirmation email that confirms your registration and provides you with a MyFootball Number (MFN).

Membership Benefits

4 Once you have received your MFN, you will be entitled to the benefits of membership, including special offers and content and the opportunity to purchase Tickets before the general public, including in a Priority Booking Period on a first-come, first-served basis or through a ballot.

5 You may be required to apply to purchase Tickets in a particular form or manner.

6 FFA may from time to time specify a date by which you must have received your MFN to be eligible to access particular member benefits, including a Priority Booking Period for a particular Match.

7 Any Tickets not sold in a Priority Booking Period or ballot, and any return of tickets from Direct Allocations from time to time, will be sold by FFA in its absolute discretion, including by placing them on public sale.

Ticket Conditions and Regulations

8 In respect of all Tickets you receive, you must comply and must ensure that each subsequent holder of any of your Tickets complies with the ticket conditions as set out on the back of the tickets.

9 It is an essential condition of this Agreement and of the right of admission to the Match conferred on the holder of a Ticket that you and each subsequent holder of the Ticket agrees with FFA:

(a) not to, nor attempt to, resell or transfer the Ticket at a premium;

(b) not to use it for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services; and

(c) not to bundle it with other goods or services,

without FFA’s prior consent. If this condition is breached, FFA may, in addition to any other remedy and even if the holder of the Ticket did not have notice of the condition or the breach, deny the holder admission to the Match and retain the price of the Ticket.

10 You agree to comply with FFA’s rules and regulations (including the Spectator Code of Behaviour available on www.footballaustralia.com.au) and any venue conditions of entry.

Limitation of liability

11 (a) Nothing in this clause 10 affects your rights under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) or similar legislation under which FFA’s liability may not be excluded, restricted or modified by private agreement (TPA Rights).

(b) If FFA is liable to you for any:

(i) breach by FFA of any express term of this Agreement;

(ii) breach by FFA of any term implied into this Agreement under the general law; or

(iii) any tort committed by FFA (including negligence but not including fraud),

FFA’s liability to you is limited (at FFA’s election) to FFA repaying any amounts paid by you under this Agreement or supplying or resupplying any tickets to which you are entitled in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

12 You agree not to bring any claim or proceeding against FFA for any damage, loss, injury or liability you may suffer in being unsuccessful in any application for Tickets or in attending any Match.

Ticket Refunds and Replacements

13 FFA will refund the full value of a Ticket if:

(a) a Match is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled; or

(b) you are entitled to a refund by virtue of the operation of TPA Rights.

14 Subject to your TPA Rights:

(a) FFA is not liable to you for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of a Match being cancelled, postponed or changed; and

(b) FFA disclaims the existence of any common law duty of care to you and any holder of the Ticket.

15 FFA will not replace your Ticket, if it is lost, stolen, forgotten, damaged, forged or unreadable (unless you can demonstrate proof of purchase and identity acceptable to FFA).
