Q. I've forgotten my MFN?
If you have any queries about your registration, can't find your MFN, or other queries you can start here.
Registration Procedures and Benefits
Q. How do I register?
To register go to www.myfootball.com.au. The registration process is self-explanatory and all mandatory fields must be completed.
Q. How will I know if my registration is successful?
You will know your registration in the Football Family has been successful once you receive a MyFootball Number (MFN). You will receive this via an automatic email response. You need to remember your MFN.
Q. When do registrations close?
Registrations for Football Family membership have re-opened permanently. However, it will be necessary to have a cut off date for each offer or priority booking period. Cut off dates will be advertised on the home page of this site.
Q. What are the benefits of registration?
As a member of the Football Family, you will have a Priority Booking Period in which to purchase tickets to forthcoming FFA-controlled matches in Australia. Other benefits will include access to special offers and information.
Q. Apart from the Football Family who else gets access to tickets?
FFA has a number of contractual, operational and protocol commitments and requirements for tickets that it must meet.
Our contractual commitments include venue members, sponsors, broadcaster, hospitality, travel and other commercial contractual entitlements.
Operational requirements include participating teams, media and broadcasting operational requirements, sports presentation and anti-doping.
Protocol allocations would include VIP ticket allocations for dignitaries including the FFA Board, dignitaries and guests, and small allocations to State and Territory Federations and Hyundai A-League Clubs.
A member of the public may also purchase corporate hospitality through our Official Hospitality agent.
Q. Why didn’t you just put all of the tickets on public sale?
The initiative offers a unique chance to demonstrate significant goodwill and support to grass roots participants and other supporters of the game of football in Australia. These supporters deserve to get something back from all that they have put in to the game. FFA has a strategic priority of engaging with, and giving back to, the Football Community, and sees this offer as a way of advancing this strategy
Scalping
Q. Can I resell my ticket?
Tickets cannot be re-sold at a premium (that is, above the face value of the ticket) nor used for any commercial purpose. This means you cannot sell your ticket on eBay, use it in a raffle or auction, or package it with hospitality. If you do, FFA reserves the right to cancel your ticket and retain the price of the ticket.
Q. What is the FFA doing about scalping?
FFA’s ticket condition prohibits scalping. FFA, together with the NSW Office of Fair Trading, will be monitoring the unauthorised sale of tickets online, including on eBay and equivalent auction sites.
